Apar Industries Ltd (Unit: Uniflex cables), the cable division registered a sales growth of over 50% during the financial year ended March’ 19 growing to Rs 1670 Cr. We have set an ambitious target of achieving Rs 2020 Cr by FY’ 2020.The cable division has a CAGR sales growth of over 27.5% for the last 10 years, making it a fastest growing cable company and is now among the top 5 cable manufacturers in India.
The cable division business is spread over several major growing sectors viz. Solar, Windmill, Railways, Govt&Pvt Utilities, EPC, Defence, Material Handling, Telecom and Exports. The company products have established a reputed name for its quality and service. The Cable products are approved by several of the utilities and private customers/consultants.
The cable division has 2 main plants, one at Umbergaon near Vapi, Gujarat (dedicated for HT XLPE Cables) and another at nearby Khatalwad (dedicated for LT XLPE, Elastomer & Ebeam Irradiated cables and Fiber Optic cables) both these plants about 150 Km from Mumbai. The cable division has installed state of the art Ebeam accelerators 1.5 MeV and 3.0 MeV for cross linking of Polymers. These Ebeam irradiated cables find application in Solar, Railways and Ship wiring applications.
