B Thiagarajan is a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from Madurai University, India. He has also completed the Senior Executive Program in London Business School in 2006.
Thiagarajan has over 35 years of professional experience having worked for companies such as L&T, BPL and Voltas, prior to joining Blue Star.
He joined Blue Star in 1998, and is currently designated as Executive Director & President, Airconditioning and Refrigeration Products Group. He is in-charge of the Manufacturing, Marketing and Service operations of Airconditioning and Refrigeration Products business and Corporate Communications & Marketing as well as PR functions.
Thiagarajan plays an active role in the affairs of various industry forums including Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Refrigeration and Airconditioning Manufacturers’ Association (RAMA).
He is a member of the National Council of CII and also the Chairman of the CII National Committee on State Level Coordination for Agriculture. He is Chairman of Affirmative Action Sub Committee of Southern Regional Council of CII. He is also the Executive Committee member of the Indian Green Building Council
