Mr. Siddharth Malik is the founder and Managing Director of Megawatt Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (MWS). Megawatt Solutions is India’s foremost specialist company for industrial clean energy solutions for Heating and Power Generation. MWS is an MNRE-approved* end-to-end supplier of energy solutions for heating, cooling, combined heat & power generation applications, based on propriety concentrated solar thermal energy technology. Under Mr. Malik’s leadership, MWS in a collaborative partnership with MNRE, Govt of India has successfully executed one of India’s largest industrial process heating project based on completely indigenously-developed concentrated solar thermal technologies and solutions. The project is poised to become India’s technological answer towards curbing emissions and making India a global solar hub.

Mr. Malik is a first generation entrepreneur and has valuable experience in operations, product management & business development from technology-focused companies aggregating large businesses in US energy and power markets. Siddharth Malik started his career with one of largest US utilities and went onto lead renewable sector investments for US-based investor group specializing in investing, operating and owning power assets.

Mr. Malik is also an inventor of multiple patents in energy technologies and has engineering & management education from University of Pennsylvania, USA. Mr. Malik’s long-term goals include creating environment-friendly energy assets by mobilizing India’s technical and economic infrastructure for the benefit of energy-deprived in the global society.

Mr. Malik has been widely covered in press and actively contributes to policy as member of various committees at MNRE including He has been featured as “Top 10 entrepreneurs of 2013 in India” and is widely quoted in leading media including CNBC, Economic Times and global media. He is also an avid musician and an artist and is passionate about science, teaching.
