| Dr. Shashank Bishnoi has been working as an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi since June 2010. His research interests are hydration of cement and supplementary cementitious materials, sustainability, durability and repair. He completed his Ph.D. in 2008 from EPFL, Switzerland in the area of cement hydration. He did his Masters in 2004 from Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Tokyo. Before that, he finished his Bachelors in 2002 from IIT Kanpur in Civil Engineering. He worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Laval University, Canada and has also been a Visiting Professor at EPFL, Switzerland. He has over 40 publications in the area of cement and concrete technology. He is a regular reviewer for Cement and Concrete Research, Cement and Concrete Composites, Journal of the American Ceramics Society, etc.. He has worked on several industry and government sponsored research projects and is an active consultant in the area of structural engineering and construction materials. | |||
