The core of Wipro’s sustainability initiatives, anchored under the ecoeye program, is focused on responsible and deep engagement with all key stakeholders. Over the last decade, we have set up the momentum for a corporation wide sustainability program at Wipro that involves employees, customers, suppliers, investors, the government, communities and the education system. As part of this charter, we have long term and strategic programs on dimensions like GHG emission reduction (LEED certified buildings and Renewable Energy contributing to 25% of our India office energy consumption), Water efficiency (Water reuse and rainwater harvesting), Waste management (100% in house organic waste handling), Biodiversity (Campus retrofits at two large campuses), People Diversity (programs on Gender, Persons with Disabilities and Nationality) and Responsible supply chain.
