Bharat Kris (”BK”) Rao is the founding Executive Chairman of BharcoEcotechnologies, which is conducting business activities throughout North America, Europe and Asia in the environmental health, renewable energy and clean water sectors. For the past 2 decades, Rao has focused his efforts on global environmental health strategies, with an emphasis on establishing and implementing solutions to mitigate risk from the current adverse environmental impact of municipal, industrial and agricultural pollution, and their related waste streams. Rao has served on several international business, government and NGO committees to assess, evaluate and recommend new and emerging clean and sustainable technologies as they apply to both the developing and the developed nations of the world. He frequently participates as a speaker in many international clean technology seminars and conferences globally. In the past, he has served on the Confederation of Indian Industry’s Steering Committee for the National Task Force on Waste. Through his leadership role as Executive Chairman of the Bharco Group of Companies, Rao has maintained his passion to promote adoptable and sustainable technologies that address and provide solutions to air, land and water pollution, the sustainable clean generation of energy, and effective options for balancing and maintaining the environmental integrity of the planet.
