Dr. Satya Gupta has over 24 years in the Electronics & semiconductor field covering areas from Chip Design to Embedded Systems & Software. He has been part of 3 successful start-ups, Open-Silicon, Concept2Silicon Systems and SenZopt Technologies as co-founder. Before starting on an entrepreneurial journey, Dr. Gupta worked at Intel for 13 years and co-founded Intel Microelectronics Services, an ASIC organization within Intel. Recipient of the prestigious IEEE Gordon Bell award in High Performance Computing for his work on breaking the Teraflop barrier for the first time, Dr. Gupta also has 6 patents and more than 40 research to his name. Towards development of Electronics Eco-Systems in India he along with several other industry leaders founded India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) in 2005 and was its chairman in 2012-13. He was also part of the team which drafted Nation Electronics Policy, 2011 and was part of Karnataka ICT Vision group, 2013. Dr. Gupta received his Ph.D. from Old Dominion University, Virginia, USA and is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and BITS, Pilani in India.
