Born on 1st January 1971, Mr Vineet Singh holds degrees in Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Kanpur (India) and a Masters of Business Administration from XIMB, Bhubaneswar. Mr Singh joined Tata Steel in 1993 as Graduate Trainee and has worked in areas from Mines, Plants, Overseas and in Marketing & Sales. He was part of core team which implemented Operational Improvement program across Tata Steel during 1998-2002. He also held the position of Regional Manager in South Africa during 2007-08, based out of Johannesburg and Regional Manager – SEA & Asia Pacific during 2008-10, based out of Singapore. He also worked with Mr B Muthuraman, ex. Vice Chairman Tata Steel as Executive Officer during 2010-2014. Currently he is looking after Marketing of Construction, Infrastructure & Industrial Projects for Conveyance Tubes – Brand Tata Pipes and Structural Tubes – Brand Tata Structura. Tata Structura pioneered the usage of hollow sections in Indian construction landscape. Mr Singh is an avid cricketer, and enjoys trekking and listening & singing light Indian music.
