An Engineering graduate from BITS Pilani with over3 decades year of experience in Power industry. Worked in senior positions in organizations like Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd., Reliance Power before joining First Solar as Technical Director for India and Middle East region. He has more than 9 years of experience in Solar industry (Solar PV and Solar CSP) in Technology, Engineering Management, Project Management, and Operation.

As technical Director at First Solar in leadership role he managesthe PV technology aspects with various stake holders like Utility, IPP’s, and other EPC companies. He also provides leadership to in house Project Engineering and execution teams for self developed solar plants.

He has more than 30 publication in various National and International conferences and journals.

Amit Kumar Mittal has experience in Engineering Management, Project Management, Construction management, Quality management of large size Nuclear, Thermal and Solar power plants.
