Madhavan Nampoothiri is the Managing Partner of Aspiration Cleantech Ventures. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the Energy industry. In his current role, Madhavan oversees investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects including Solar PV and Solar Thermal projects.

Madhavan’s opinions have appeared in the New York Times, Bloomberg, GreenTechMedia, Economic Times and The Hindu Business Line, among others. He is regularly invited to speak on renewable energy at various forums and has presented at international conferences like Solarpraxis(Berlin), Intersolar China(Beijing), Intersolar India, SolarCon India and PV Insider India, among others.

Madhavan has an MBA from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, USA and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from M.S. University,India. Madhavan has lived and worked in China, USA and Switzerland.
