Rohit Kumar has been heading the REC business for the last 3 1/2 Years, and under him the Indian entity has grown multiple folds, emerging as the largest European brand of Solar PV supplier India, the team has also grown with the success and has a pan-India reach.
Rohit has been in the solar Industry for a decade now, having rich and varied experience from working in companies specializing in Manufacturing and EPC, thus giving him a 360 degree understanding of the industry. Some of them are Wipro Eco Energy, Moser Baer Photo Voltaics, Delta Electronics, Eaton Electrical, etc.
His prior experience in establishing new markets for electrical backup equipment manufacturers and short stints with Moser Baer & Wipro EcoEnergy has helped him establishing REC as the preferred brand for the burgeoning C&I rooftop market in India. REC is the first manufacturer with European lineage to achieve an install base of well over 275MW in the Indian Subcontinent.
