Satish Kamat works as President of Sri City near Chennai,
Sri City is a 7500 Acre integrated green field Integrated Smart Business City and is considered to be one of the best Industrial Parks in India.
Sri City has been planned as a Smart and Sustainable city and has been awarded IGBC Gold rating for sustainability in 2017-18 and has been awarded highest sustainability rating of 5-GEM by Assocham in 2018 also.
He is a pioneer in the Smart and Sustainable City development and operations in India an expert in Planning, Development and Operation of the City. Prior to his stint in Sri City, he was VP- City Management in Smart Hill City in Maharashtra.
Satish is a Engineer from BITS, Pilani and an MBA from Symbiosis, Pune. He has also completed a course on ‘Developing Affordable Cities and Affordable Housing ’ from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
