Mr. Menon is a Mechanical Engineer from VJTI, Mumbai and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Bombay University. He has more than 30 years of industry experience and has held several senior leadership positions with M/s General Electric (GE) India & Europe. Most recently, he was the CEO of GE’s Renewable Energy business, which he started up in the India region and grew to a sound profitable, Revenue & Market share position. He is credited with successful execution of the India business strategy -by building capabilities in Product management, Manufacturing, Commercial Contracts, Risk management, Project Execution expertise & Government relations.

Mr. Menon has significant business leadership experience and insight into the Indian market, having lead the turnaround of GE’s Specialty Materials (Silicones) business; GE Power Generation Services business and captained several Business Development initiatives.

Prior to joining GE, Mr. Menon worked with Larsen & Toubro Limited, Mumbai, in the Captive Power and Cogen, Oil & Gas Special Projects.

His interests outside of work includes Voluntary service and hobbies such as listening to music and playing sports.
