Sujoy Ghosh is the Country Head for First Solar in India. He is responsible for developing and executing First Solar's business strategy in India.
Sujoy has 23+ years of industry experience in India, and joined First Solar from GE, where he was the Regional General Manager for GE Energy's Power and Water business. In his 9 years with GE, he has worked in a diverse range of businesses from T&D (SCADA, network management and sub-station automation) to Thermal Power Generation (Gas and Steam Turbine and gasification) to Renewables (Wind). For the last 5 years, he led GE's Thermal Products and Renewable Sales in India/Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Prior to joining GE, Sujoy worked for 13 years in Tata Honeywell in sales/market development handling technology platforms from distributed control systems, safety systems and advanced control and optimization packages, across business verticals in the manufacturing, utility and oil & gas verticals.
