"Prabhat has over 15 years of experience in power sector and is working as AVP & Head-Offtake & Distributed Solar Generation, ReNew Power. He has been instrumental in creating a project portfolio of around 250 MW for supplying green energy to industrial and commercial consumers in various geographies. He is responsible for maximizing the revenue of the company by choosing optimum sale mix among utilities, industries and other consumers, trading licensees etc.

In his earlier role he was Heading Power Sales, Policy & Regulatory Affairs department at Green Infra Limited. Prior to this he was working as Head-Business Development for Reliance Energy Trading Limited. At NTPC, he led an 18 member team comprising associates, supervisors and technicians for managing shift operations and was heading Unit Operations for 1000 MW thermal power plant at Simhadri, Visakhapatnam. He has operated gas, liquid fuel and coal based power projects at various locations of NTPC.

He has studied electrical engineering at BIT Sindri and is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and RMIT, Melbourne where he has undergone management education."
