Arun Bhatia is the Managing Director of Climate, Controls and Security Products for UTC Building & Industrial Systems. In this role, Arun is responsible for overall operations of Carrier Air conditioning & Refrigeration, Toshiba Air conditioning as well asFire & Security Products businesses for India region including Nepal, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh.
Prior to this role, Arun was Director-Sales for Carrier India and carries with over 24 years of rich experience in the Building Systems industry. He started his career with Carrier in 195 and has worked in leadership roles across residential, light commercial and commercial HVAC and Refrigerations businesses.
Arun is a thought leader in the field of sustainability and is actively involved with Indian Green Building Council in promoting Green Building Movement in India. He is currently the Chairman – Delhi Chapter for IGBC. Arun is also involved in the National Building Code revision underway at Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
A Mechanical Engineer by qualification, Arun also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Sales & Marketing.
