Victoria leads WorldGBC's Advancing Net Zero project, established in response to the Paris Agreement to work towards a global net zero carbon building stock. With the support of the project, ten Green Building Councils have committed to introducing a net zero carbon certification system for their market by early 2018, as well as setting and tracking targets on implementing pilot projects and training the sector towards net zero carbon. With a strong background in the sustainable development industry in several countries, ranging from client advisory services, green building rating tool consultancy, and an on-site Head of Sustainability for a major contractor in Europe, Victoria brings a unique perspective to the project and a drive to help the industry achieve decarbonisation. Victoria has a degree in Architecture and Environmental Design from the University of Nottingham, UK, and has recently co-authored the book: A Whole System Approach to High-Performance Green Buildings.
